Belle and Sebastian are more than mopey Scottish songwriters. They're a full band (7) of Smith-loving, Dylan-imitating pop rockers. Okay, sometimes they're a little whiney, but this song confirms their versatility. Electronic Renaissance is on the album Tigermilk and below is a video of the French cartoon the band is named for:
